ECOLOGIST TO DISCUSS AMPHIBIANS TODAY
James Vonesh, an ecologist and faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University, will speak on predation of tropical amphibians in the Fall 2007 Seminar Series of Old Dominion University's Biological Sciences Department at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, in room 101 of Mills Godwin Building.
Vonesh, an assistant research professor in the biology department at VCU, will discuss predation on tropical frogs inhabiting Africa and Central America. His research program is diverse and has addressed global amphibian declines, amphibian responses to pesticides and how predation affects population dynamics.
The seminar is free and open to the public.
