ODU TREE PLANTING IS TODAY
Children from the Old Dominion University Child Study Center will join faculty and staff to plant a tree outside of Virginia House Friday, July 20 at 10:30 a.m. Old Dominion was one of 100 locations across the United States, Canada, England and Ireland selected by Bartlett Tree Experts to commemorate the company's 100th anniversary.
In addition to donating the live oak, Quercus Virginiana, experts from Bartlett will be on hand to educate children about this particular tree and its function within the environment.
