LADY MONARCHS HEADED TO THE NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The Old Dominion women's basketball is heading to California for this year's NCAA Tournament. The Lady Monarchs, seeded seventh in the Fresno Region, will open tournament action on Saturday, March 17 at 11 a.m. against 10th-seeded Florida State at Maples Pavilion on the campus of Stanford University. The game will be televised on ESPN.

The team captured a record 16th Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title with a 78-70 victory against James Madison on Sunday. The Lady Monarchs enter NCAA tournament action holding a 24-8 overall record.

On Saturday, Old Dominion University will host viewing party in the House of Blue for students and fans to watch and celebrate the Lady Monarchs.
