Nominations are being solicited by the Old Dominion University Office of Research for the Faculty Research Achievement Award presented each year at
the spring Research Expo convocation. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 12.
Full-time tenured faculty members who have been at ODU for at least five years are eligible for the award. The winner gets a $1,000 prize and a plaque.

The nominating faculty member or administrator must write a short statement summarizing the significance of the nominee's accomplishments, provide an outline of the accomplishments and provide the nominee's resume. Six copies of the nomination package must be submitted to Office of Research, 2035 Hughes Hall.
The award winner will be announced April 5 at Research Expo 2007: 400 Years of Discovery in the Ted Constant Convocation Center.
