Gov. Tim Kaine ordered Virginia flags at state facilities to be lowered until sundown on Friday, in honor of Roanoke Delegate A. Victor Thomas who died Wednesday, April 26 at the age of 76.
Thomas represented parts of Roanoke and Roanoke County in the House of Delegates for 30 years. He will be buried today at St. Andrew's Diocesan Cemetery in Roanoke.
