HAMPTON ROADS TRANSIT ANNOUNCES DETOURS

Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) has issued detours on numerous transportation routes throughout the region, which could affect some members of the campus community. The detour routing will be in effect beginning April 19, Monday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Construction projects in the region have caused street closures on many of these routes.

Until further notice, HRT Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 18, 20, 24 and 61 will follow a detour route. The detour route has been carefully chosen to retain the highest level of service possible in the downtown area.

The detour routing is Saint Paul's Boulevard, (R) Waterside Drive, (R) Atlantic Avenue, (R) Main Street, (L) Bank Street, (L) City Hall Avenue, (R) Monticello Avenue.
