HOMELAND SECURITY CONFERENCE AT OLD DOMINION OCT. 7-8

"Homeland Security, Public Health and Preparedness: A Mini Conference" will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7-8 in Webb University Center at Old Dominion University.

Free and open to the public, the conference is co-sponsored by the Old Dominion University Monarch Dance Team, Global Health Technology Infrastructure-C, National Consortium for African American Children, American College of Forensic Examiners Institute. Seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The conference will cover a variety of security issues, including emergency preparedness programs, recognizing warning and danger signals of emergencies and disasters, rapid response resources for the Old Dominion community, preparedness drills, and self-protection and defense against physical and non-physical threats.
