RAGAN REAVES FREEMAN EXHIBIT AT ODU GALLERY

"Tightrope," a one-person exhibition of the works of local artist Ragan Reaves Freeman, will open with a reception at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the University Gallery, 350 W. 21st St., Norfolk.

The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. The show continues through April 3.

Freeman's new paintings and mixed media pieces include layers of images and surfaces, glass, wood and photographs. The pieces form the artist's narratives on environmental and political topics.
