PRESIDENT REMINDS ODU COMMUNITY TO DONATE COINS FOR INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to ask everyone to undertake one final effort (ending on Saturday, Jan. 15), to collect additional coins for our international sculpture for peace and understanding.

I would like to offer appropriate prizes to the student group -- ROTC unit, academic college department, physical plant/administrative unit, alumnus/a, Town-N-Gown member, member of the local civic group, member of the Faculty Wives and Friends, and member of the Faculty Emeriti -- who brings in the largest addition to the collection between now and January 15.

Please bring your contributions to the President's Office so they can be registered before being added to the box. We will take the coins available at that time and arrange for a competition for the sculpture and its design.
