REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR SUPPLY CHAIN RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM IS NOV. 24
A Supply Chain Security Research Symposium will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 in the multipurpose room of the Ted Constant Convocation Center. Sponsored by Norfolk Southern Corporation and organized by the Old Dominion University Maritime Institute and College of Business and Public Administration, tickets are $20 per person. Speakers will cover topics ranging from supply chain resilience preparedness, government security programs and maritime security. Presenters include Omar Keith Helferich, professor of supply chain management at Central Michigan University, Irvin Varkonyi, director of Education Trade Security Institute in Fairfax, Va. and Capt. Jon S. Helmick, director Logistics and Intermodal Transportation Program, United State Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, New York.
