LIBRARY FALL FACULTY FORUM IS NOV. 7
The Faculty Fall Forum, part of the Friends of the Old Dominion University Library Lecture Series, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, in room 151 of Perry Library. Faculty members Shaomin Li and Anil Nair will discuss the topic "The Tortoise and the Hare: Economic Reforms in China and India."
Li joined the Department of Management at Old Dominion University in 2002. His teaching and research interests include global environment of business, political economy, strategy, and e-business. His current research focuses on the business environment in countries undergoing rapid political and economic transitions.
Nair joined the Department of Management in 1997. He has taught the undergraduate courses in Business Strategy, International Management, International Business, the MBA course in Strategic Issues in E-commerce and the Ph.D. course in International Strategic Management. His research interests are in Strategic Groups, Competitive Dynamics, Technological Change and Regional Studies.
