FEDERAL WORK-STUDY POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Old Dominion University's Office of Environmental Health and Safety has two part-time Federal Work-Study student position openings.

The positions assist the EHSO staff with various projects, laboratory inspections, fume hood inspections, and safety shower and eyewash inspections; assist in the pickup of hazardous chemical waste; perform simple wet chemistry analyses; update database and spreadsheet information; file paperwork; make photocopies; run errands on campus; clean and re-label waste containers; bring trash and recyclables to Physical Plant; and clean state vehicles.

Requirements include a valid driver's license; computer skills, including MS Office; ability to navigate the Internet for research purposes; motivated, self-starter with ability to meet deadlines.
