STUDENT GROUPS JOIN TOGETHER TO PRESENT 'CULTURAL EXPLOSION' NOV. 5 IN WEBB
More than 40 student organizations, sports teams, fraternities and sororities have teamed up to present Cultural Explosion, a Programs All Weekend event that will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 in the Cafeterias of Webb University Center. Foods from all over the world will be served at 6:30 p.m. and a cultural music, dance, fashion and spoken word show will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
Participating Student Organizations include the African Caribbean Association, Alpha Kappa Psi, Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Phi Omega, Asian Pacific American Student Union, Black Student Alliance, Delta Sigma Theta, Delta Zeta, D.E.S.T.I.N.E.D., Hip Hop Summit Action Network, Ebony Impact Gospel Choir, Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance, Filipino American Student Association, Human Services Association, International Balkan Society, Indian Student Association, Lambda Chi, Latino Student Alliance, Minds About Progress, Monarch Dance Team, Monarch Maniacs, Monarch Soccer Team, Muslim Student Association, National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice, ODU Ben's Basketball Team, ODU Cheerleaders, ODU's Men's Soccer Team, ODU Out, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, Pi Beta Phi, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Gamma Rho, Sigma Lambda Upsilon, Student Activities Council, Student Ambassadors, ODU Student Art League, Student Government Association, Sword of the Spirit, T.I.A.R.A.s, Urban Street Dancers and Zeta Phi Beta.
