DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR COMMUNITY CARE DAY CHILDREN'S EVENTS IS OCT. 12

Volunteers who sign up to participate in Community Care Day Saturday, Oct. 16 will be able to take advantage of two special activities for their children sponsored by Old Dominion University's Child Study Center and Office of Recreational Sports. The deadline to register is Tuesday, Oct. 12.

For 4 to 5-year-old children, a "Morning of Children's Activities" is available from 9:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m at the ODU Child Study Center. Call 683-4117 to register. Children ages 6 to 8 may participate in "Children's Games" on Kaufman Mall from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 683-3384 to register.
