CRIMINAL JUSTICE LECTURE IS NOV. 4

The Old Dominion University Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice Lecture Series presents "Policing in the New Millennium" by Jack Dempsey, professor of criminal justice at SUNY-Empire and the author of the widely used Introduction to Policing text published by Wadsworth, at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, in Constant Hall Room 1024.

Dempsey is a retired captain from the New York City Police Department. He has published several books and multiple articles on issues of policing, investigations and criminal justice.
