APPLIED ETHICS LECTURES ARE THURSDAY IN B.A.L.

The Old Dominion University Philosophy Department's Institute for Applied Ethics presents two talks by George Klosko, Henry L. and Grace Doherty Professor of Politics at the University of Virginia, on the topic of civic, or political, obligation, the responsibility citizens have to one another to obey the law, etc.

From 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, Klosko will discuss "Multiple Principles of Political Obligation." From 7:15-8:30 p.m., Klosko will discuss "Listening to Citizens About Their Obligations." Both talks are in Batten Arts and Letters Building Room 921.

The talks are in conjunction with the ODU College of Arts and Letters and the Department of Political Science. For more information, call 683-3861.
