WORLD AFFAIRS COUNCIL DINNER IS SEPT. 16

The World Affairs Council of Greater Hampton Roads, of which Old Dominion University is a lead sponsor, will begin its series of programs this year with a presentation by Khaled Al-Maenna, editor-in-chief of Arab News, the largest English-language daily in the Middle East, at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Airport Hilton Hotel in Norfolk.

A reception for Al-Maenna and his wife, Samar Fatany, a radio journalist for Radio Jeddah, will be at 6:15 p.m. Dinner is at 7 p.m.
