SOCCER'S HARRIS NAMED TO NATIONAL TEAM

Old Dominion men's soccer senior midfielder Kevon Harris has been named to The College Soccer News National Team of the Week for the week ending Sept. 5.

Harris scored the game-winning goal against Campbell Sept. 1 in the Monarchs' 1-0 victory, and also scored one of the two ODU goals against Davidson this past Saturday in ODU's 2-0 victory. The two victories extended the ODU home unbeaten streak to 18 games, dating back to the 2002 season.

The Monarchs will host the 29th annual Stihl Soccer Classic this weekend. William and Mary, Rutgers and Navy will participate in the tournament.
