REGIONAL ECONOMIC ANALYST TO ADDRESS ECONOMICS CLUB OCT. 12
Rob Grunewald, regional economic analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, will speak at the Economics Club of Hampton Roads luncheon Tuesday, Oct. 12.
Co-sponsored by Old Dominion University's College of Business and Public Administration, the luncheon, scheduled for noon at the Sheraton Waterside Hotel in Norfolk, costs $30 for nonmembers. Due to limited space, reservations are required.
As a regional economic analyst, Grunewald conducts regional economic research and co-authors the Minneapolis Fed's "Beige Book" report on current economic conditions. He also writes articles on the regional economy and other economic and banking issues for the Fedgazette and The Region. Co-author of "Early Childhood Development: Economic Development with a High Public Return," he regularly speaks to business, community and school groups about the Federal Reserve and the regional economy. Grunewald received his bachelor's degree in economics and religion from St. Olaf College.
