PANEL DISCUSSION ON 2004 ELECTION TODAY IN MILLS GODWIN BLDG.

A panel discussion on the 2004 presidential election will be from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, in room 102 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building at Old Dominion University.

Panelists will include Glen Sussman, chair and professor of political science; Regina Karp, director of the ODU Center for Regional and Global Study and associate professor of political science; and David Earnest, assistant professor of political science. The moderator will be G. William Whitehurst, former congressman and Kaufman Lecturer in Public Affairs at ODU.

The panel will discuss the election from their respective perspectives - domestic policy, security/foreign policy and the international political economy (e.g., outsourcing jobs). A question-and-answer session will follow.
