TENNIS SCHOLARSHIP TOURNAMENT SEPT. 10-12

The 31st annual Old Dominion University/Hall Automotive Scholarship Tennis Tournament will be Friday through Sunday, Sept. 10-12, at the Virginia Beach Tennis and Country Club.

Proceeds from the tournament, which features men's, women's and mixed doubles categories, benefit ODU tennis scholarships.

Entry fees are $30 per player or $50 per player to play in two events. Checks should be made payable to the ODU Intercollegiate Foundation. Awards will be presented to champions, finalists, and consolation winners.

Entry deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 7. Participants can call Nancy Garber at 481-7545 to sign up. Starting times will be available after noon Thursday, Sept. 9, by calling 481-7545.

Each participant receives a tournament T-shirt, a player party on Saturday, Sept. 11, and the opportunity to attend tennis appreciation night at a future ODU basketball game in the Ted Constant Convocation Center.
