BUSINESS DEAN ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT OF EDUCATION FOR AMERICAN ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATION
Nancy Bagranoff, dean of the College of Business and Public Administration at Old Dominion University was elected vice president of education for the American Accounting Association during their annual meeting in Orlando, Fla. August 8-11.
"This is a tremendous honor for me and I am absolutely thrilled and flattered beyond belief to get this position," said Bagranoff.
The American Accounting Association consists of about 9,000 members, most of whom are accounting academics. As vice president for education, Bagranoff will be the representative on accounting education to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and other organizations.
