GOLF TOURNEY TO BENEFIT CIVIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Visitors Council (CEEVC) will hold its eighth annual James A. Rives, Sr. Memorial Golf Tournament Aug. 6 at the Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk.

Proceeds from the event will fund scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in Old Dominion University's civil and environmental engineering program. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration costs $75 per team member.

The CEEVC, which consists of prominent local engineers and alumni, was formed to guide the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department in their quest to turn out high quality graduates.
