More than 250 tickets have already been sold to a special Old Dominion University performance of Cirque Eloize's "Nomade" at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, at Chrysler Hall.

Tickets remain available at $10 for ODU employees, alumni, board members and students, as well as their families. The circus performance is part of the 2004 Virginia Arts Festival,

Call the ODU president's office at 683-3159 to reserve your tickets; pay by 3 p.m. Friday, May 7.

Quebec's Cirque Eloize, among today's most acclaimed contemporary circus troupes, performs Italian style (no big top, no animals), at the world's top festivals including Edinburgh, the Sydney Opera House, and the Hollywood Bowl. The intimacy of the theater stage and a live minstrel band adds warmth and humanism to their original works.

More information on the festival is online at http://www.virginiaartsfest.com/index.html.
