RETIREMENT SEMINAR IS MARCH 18

Pre-retirement seminars conducted by the Department of Human Resources will be Thursday, March 18, in the Hampton and Newport News Rooms in Webb University Center.

Sessions on the following topics will be offered at the following times: social security, 8:15-9:45 and 10:30-noon; VRS, 8:15-9:45 and 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Staff from the Social Security Administration and from the Virginia Retirement System will facilitate discussions to assist in: understanding how to plan for your retirement; understanding retirement options under VRS; and understanding Social Security information.

Registration is required and classified employees must have their supervisors' approval to attend this seminar. More information is available by calling 683-3042.
