MENTORSHIP DAY IS MARCH 17 AT VBHEC

Old Dominion University's Virginia Beach Higher Education Center, in collaboration with the offices of Admissions and University Events, will sponsor the annual Mentorship Day of the Virginia Beach Central Business District Association (CBDA) on Wednesday, March 17.

On Mentorship Day, 50 Princess Anne High school juniors and seniors are paired with CBDA members in their chosen career areas for a morning in the workplace, followed by a luncheon. ODU's VBHEC is sponsoring this year's luncheon, where students will have a chance to meet with an admissions office representative, and all attendees will learn about the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center and its role in both academic program offerings and workforce development opportunities for Virginia Beach citizens. A total of 200 participants are expected.
