I.D.S. BACHELOR'S DISCUSSED AT APRIL 7 SESSION

An information session on the bachelor of science degree in interdisciplinary studies at Old Dominion University will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at one of four locations.

The sessions will be offered at:

- ODU Main Campus/Weekend College, Norfolk (757-683-6388, www.odu.edu/weekendcollege)

- Virginia Beach Higher Education Center (757-368-4100, www.odu.edu/vbhec)

- Northern Virginia Center, Sterling, Va. (703-948-2750, www.odu.edu/nvc)

Old Dominion University offers a dynamic, interdisciplinary degree completion program, "Work and Professional Studies" (WPS). This program, with a concentration in work-related issues, presents a framework from which to examine work as an ongoing research project, blending the knowledge of liberal arts course work with courses that focus on the expansion of professional skills. WPS offers many opportunities to develop and enhance the skills and knowledge critical in today's workplace.
