FACULTY, STAFF READINGS AT TCC LITERARY FESTIVAL

Tim Seibles, associate professor of English, and Jay Lidington, a student in the creative writing program at Old Dominion University, will give readings of their work as part of the Tidewater Community College Literary Festival.

Lidington, a public relations specialist in the Office of University Relations at ODU and an adjunct faculty member at TCC, will read as part of TCC-Norfolk readings at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, also in Martin 2502.

Seibles will the guest reader at a grand open mic finale to the festival at 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 2, in Martin Building Room 2502 on the TCC Norfolk campus.

Seibles is the author of three books of poetry, "Body Moves," "Hurdy Gurdy" and "Kerosene." He has received fellowships from the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center and the NEA and recently won an Open Voice Award from the National Writer's Voice Project. His poems have appeared in "Ploughshares," "New England Review," "The Artful Dodge" and an anthology called "In Search of Color Everywhere."

Lidington's work has been published in PortFolio Weekly and has appeared on the statewide radio program "With Good Reason."
