COMMUNITY CARE DAY IS APRIL 3

In an effort to promote neighborhood pride and enhance community spirit, the Old Dominion University Service Committee -- in cooperation with Minds About Progress, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Sigma Nu, Highland Park Civic League, Lambert's Point Civic League and Larchmont/Edgewater Civic League -- is initiating a clean-up campaign in these communities.

Volunteers are needed for "Old Dominion University Community Care Day" from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 3. A block party will follow the event at 4:30 p.m. Online registration is available at http://jasper.ts.odu.edu/Apps/StudentServices/CCD.nsf/Registration?OpenForm and should be completed by March 30.

Volunteers report to Old Dominion University's Williamsburg Lawn in front of Rollins Hall 15 minutes prior to their shifts and will receive their assignment, including task and location, a map of the area and all necessary supplies. Parking is available in Lot 27 off of Elkhorn Ave.

For more information, contact Cecelia Tucker at 683-3159.
