WOMEN'S CENTER V-DAY OBSERVANCE IS FEB. 12

An observance of V-Day, "A Day to End Violence Against Women," by Old Dominion University's Women's Center will be Thursday, Feb. 12.

"Words Like Fists - Fighting Violence Against Women with Poetry," will be at 12:30 p.m. in the Hampton/Newport News Room of Webb University Center, faculty members Renee Olander and Tim Seibles reading and discussing poems with representations of gender-based violence.

A performance of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues," a chronicle of women's stories of rape, incest, domestic battery, will be at 7 p.m. in the Hampton/Newport News Room.
