VALENTINE'S SOCIAL AT MONARCHS GAME FEB. 14

This Valentine's Day, the Old Dominion University Alumni Association will honor those "Married Monarchs" - the more than 2,000 married ODU alumni couples living in Hampton Roads - at a special pre-game social prior to the ODU Monarchs/University of Delaware basketball game Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

The romantic evening will include a social, featuring heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages (beer, wine and sodas), beginning at 5 p.m. in the Constant Center's multi-purpose room. Romantic door prizes will be awarded to many of the couples in attendance, including one-night getaways at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel (courtesy of the Sheraton) and at the Hotel Helix in Washington, D.C., (courtesy of CI Travel). The social will last until tip-off at 7 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to utilize the free parking in the Constant Center parking garage and enter the building on the 43rd Street side. The Alumni Association event registration table will be immediately on your right when you enter these doors.
Cost per couple is $25 and includes two game tickets and the social. "Married Monarchs" are invited to bring their families for an additional $15 per person (one game ticket and social). Guests who already have game tickets may attend the social only for $14 per couple or $8 per additional guest. Payment should be made in advance via personal check, Visa or MasterCard.
