THIRD ANNUAL LAMBERTS POINT SPRING HEALTH FAIR IS APRIL 3

The third annual Lamberts Point Spring Health Fair, sponsored by Old Dominion University and Village Point Senior Housing, will be held Saturday, April 3.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Community Room of Village Pointe, located at 1220 38th Street in Norfolk.

Aimed at increasing the community's awareness of available events and services at the new Village Pointe center, the health fair will provide general health information and blood pressure, cholesterol and dental cancer screenings. Information will also be provided about community resources available to the elderly, such as Village Pointe's free fitness classes and weekly health and wellness teaching on Thursdays.
