ODU TO OFFER FREE DENTAL SCREENING FOR COMMUNITY CHILDREN FEB. 14
Old Dominion University faculty and students and local dentists from the Tidewater Dental Association will offer free oral health screenings for children Saturday, Feb. 14 at the ODU Dental Hygiene Clinic.
The screenings, available for children ages six to 18 only, will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Appointments are necessary and can be obtained by calling 683-4308.
During each individual session, dental hygiene providers will screen for dental decay. X-rays and dental sealants will be provided as needed.
The screenings are offered as part of February's Dental Health Month National Children's Dental Access Day and are sponsored by Old Dominion's Gene W. Hirschfeld School of Dental Hygiene and the Tidewater Dental Association.
The Dental Hygiene Clinic is located in the Technology Building on Hampton Boulevard, between 46th and 47th Streets.
