PARKING METERS IN PLACE IN VILLAGE
City parking meters are now installed on Monarch Way in Old Dominion University's University Village.
The meters are owned and operated by the City of Norfolk Parking Department. Enforcement is 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Meter price is 25 cents per 15 minutes with a maximum of two hours.
The city fine for overtime at a meter is $15. The fine for meter feeding - adding money to the meter instead of moving the vehicle at the end of the maximum two-hour period - is $25.
The numbered streets in the village are limited to "two-hour parking" and are enforced by the city's parking enforcement officers.
Vehicles displaying a valid ODU parking decal may park in the Convocation Center garage. There are parking restrictions during special events at the Convocation Center. Please contact Parking Services at 683-4004 for further information.
