ODU'S DAHI NAMED ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Old Dominion University freshman basketball player Arnaud Dahi, a native of the African nation of Ivory Coast, was named Rookie of the Week by the Colonial Athletic Association after averaging 14 points, six rebounds and 3.5 blocked shots in ODU's victories over VMI and Drexel last week.

Dahi scored 15 points, with six rebounds, two assists, and blocked three shots in the Monarchs 74-52 victory over VMI. He then scored 13 points with six rebounds, two assists and blocked four shots in the Monarchs, 65-58 CAA win over Drexel last Saturday.

Through 10 games, Dahi is averaging 9.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. The Monarchs return to action when they travel to Fairfax, Va., for a CAA game at George Mason on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in the Patriot Center.
