CELLO/PIANO RECITAL IS FEB. 6

A recital by cellist Sungzhin Peter Lee and pianist Caroline Kyungnan Park will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, in Old Dominion University's Chandler Recital Hall, Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center, 4810 Elkhorn Ave.

The recital will feature works by Bach, Debussy, Schubert and Rachmaninoff. Admission is free.

Lee is a professor at Yeungnam University in South Korea. He has been a visiting professor at ODU in 2002-2003. He will take the position of the dean of College of Music at Yeungnam in March.

Praised by The New York Times for her musical sensitivity, power and assurance, Park has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. She has performed in New York at Carnegie Weil Recital Hall, Alice Tuly Hall, the Metropolitan Museum, Steinway Hall and universities including Columbia and Yale University.
