ODU FACULTY, STAFF ON 'WITH GOOD REASON' DEC. 21, 24
Two Old Dominion University faculty and a university staff member will be guests on a special holiday edition of the radio program "With Good Reason" beginning on Sunday, Dec. 21.
The show, which highlights the expertise of faculty at Virginia's higher education institutions, will feature jazz interpretations of holiday music by John Toomey, professor of music; and readings by poet Peter Meinke, the Mina Hohenberg Darden Endowed Chair in Creative Writing, and writer Jay Lidington of ODU's Office of University Relations, an adjunct faculty member at Tidewater Community College's Norfolk campus.
The segment will air on WNSB-FM (91.1) at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, and on WHRV-FM (89.5) at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24.
It will also be broadcast on the Web at www.withgoodreasonradio.org beginning Friday, Dec. 26. The show also includes a host of other faculty artists from Virginia colleges and universities.
