RTS STUDENT WINS STATE AWARD
Arlana Fauntleroy of Williamsburg, a student in the Recreation and Tourism Studies program at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, received the 2003 Outstanding New Professional Award from the Virginia Recreation and Park Society.
Fauntleroy attends ODU part-time and works for the James City County Parks and Recreation Department.
The award is given in recognition of new professionals for outstanding commitment and achievements in the parks and recreation field.
The Virginia Recreation and Park Society is a group of professionals, students and interested lay persons engaged in the field of recreation, parks and leisure services in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
