ODU BASKETBALL GAMES ON WHRO VIA TAPE DELAY
Old Dominion University has agreed with WHRO-TV (Ch. 15) to broadcast five Old Dominion Monarch and Lady Monarch basketball games via tape delay this year. They will be replayed same day at 11:30 p.m., with the exception of the women's game with George Mason, which will be aired at 5 p.m.
Tony Mercurio of ESPN Radio 1310 will serve as the play-by-play on the men's broadcasts; John Castleberry on the women's games. The schedule follows:
Men's games
Monday, Dec. 29 -- vs. VMI
Wednesday, Feb. 25 -- vs. William and Mary
Women's games
Thursday, Dec. 18 -- vs. Georgia Tech
Sunday, Jan. 25 -- vs. George Mason (tape delay 5 p.m.)
Friday, Feb. 20 -- vs. Delaware
