EDUCATION FULBRIGHT RECEPTION IS TODAY
A reception celebrating the four recent Fulbright scholars of the Department of Early Childhood, Speech-Language Pathology, and Special Education will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in the foyer of the Child Study Center.
The Department of Early Childhood, Speech-Language Pathology and Special Education in the Darden College of Education cordially invites faculty, staff, students, and friends to a reception to honor the scholars -- Eileen Abrahamsen, Sharon Raver-Lampman, Allen Sandler and Alice Wakefield.
Each of the Fulbright Scholars will share highlights of the experiences in the countries which they served.
Abrahamsen, a two-time Fulbright Scholar, spent six months in Slovakia. Raver-Lampman served in Calcutta, India. Sandler spent a year in Central Vietnam. Wakefield's appointment was with the Qatar Ministry of Education in Doha, Qatar.
