NURSING HONOR SOCIETY SPONSORS LECTURE

Epsilon Chi, Old Dominion University's chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, will host a lecture by Leslie Neal, assistant professor of nursing at Marymount University, at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2003 at the Norfolk Airport Hilton.

Neal will discuss "Toward an Understanding of the Nursing Profession in Crisis." Admission is $20 for members, which includes dinner; $25, non-members.

Neal received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Rutgers University, a master's degree from San Jose State University, and a Ph.D. from George Mason University. Her areas of expertise include home health nursing, rehabilitation nursing and health care and nursing issues.

There will also be a broadcast presentation from 4:15-5:30 p.m. at all TELETECHNET sites that receive Nursing 306. This presentation is free for students, STTI members, community college faculty and guests.
