NEW GALLERY EXHIBIT OPENS SATURDAY

An exhibition of paintings by Josef Schutzenh�fer will be at the Old Dominion University Gallery Saturday, Oct. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 16.

The exhibition consists of studies and paintings on paper for a site-specific installation to be shown in Graz, Austria, at the 2003 Festival of New Arts.

A reception with the artist will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the gallery, 350 W. 21st Street in Ghent near the Palace Shops.

A slide presentation will be from 12:15�1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, in room 107 of the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center. All events are free and open to the public.

Gallery hours are noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; noon to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
