MATH COLLOQIUM IS FRIDAY IN CONSTANT HALL

J. Mark Dorrepaal, chairman of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Old Dominion University, will discuss "How Big is the n-team Traveling Tournament Problem?" during the department's next colloquium, 2-3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, in room 1043 of Constant Hall.

The n-team Traveling Tournament Problem (TTP) is a kind of nth order Traveling Salesman Problem which is of interest to Major League Baseball in the assembly of their team schedules.
