LECTURE ON "NURSING PROFESSION IN CRISIS" OCT. 20

Epsilon Chi, Old Dominion University's chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor society of Nursing will host a lectureship presentation at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2003 at the Hilton Norfolk Airport.

Leslie Neal, assistant professor of nursing at Marymount University, will discuss "Toward an Understanding of the Nursing Profession in Crisis." The lecture, which includes dinner, costs $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.

Neal received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Rutgers University, a master's degree from San Jose State University and a Ph.D. from George Mason University. Her areas of expertise include home health nursing, rehabilitation nursing, health care issues and nursing issues.

There will also be a broadcast presentation from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at all TELETECHNET sites that receive Nursing 306. This presentation is free of charge for students, STTI members, community college faculty, and guests.
