CENTER FOR BIOELECTRICS TO HOST SEMINAR OCT. 6

Richard Nuccitelli, vice president for research and development at RPN Research, will discuss how endogenous electric fields influence wound healing at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, at Old Dominion University's Center for Bioelectrics.

The center is located at 830 Southampton Ave., Suite 5100, in downtown Norfolk.

Nuccitelli will review several recent experiments supporting a role for electric fields in the stimulation of wound healing and describe his recent investigations with a new instrument called the Bioelectric Field Imager to map the electric field near mammalian skin wounds non-invasively.
