GROUP TO CONSIDER RENT-FREE USE OF CONVOCATION CENTER

The Ted Constant Convocation Center Policy Group (CCCPG) is pleased to announce that it will again offer the university and university-affiliated groups' use of the center on a rent-free basis.

The CCCPG can declare up to four dates annually rent-free to university user groups, based on facility availability. Any group granted a rent-free date in the center is required to pay all expenses associated with producing such an event.

The CCCPG suggests that you submit applications for proposed activities in the arena and multi-purpose room for events that do not serve food. If you are planning a banquet or reception with catered food, it is requested that you contact Doug Higgons at 683-5762 to discuss your proposed facility usage and associated costs.

Any group desiring to use the Constant Convocation Center rent-free can submit an application, by Wednesday, Oct. 1.

The CCCPG will review applications at their bimonthly meetings. Groups granted rent-free use of the convocation center will be notified upon selection. Contact either the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance at ext. 3464 or the administrative office of the Constant Convocation Center ext. 5762 for a rent-free application form.
