CLOSING DECISION DUE AT 6 P.M.
As Hurricane Isabel appears to decrease in intensity as of noon today, University administrators will wait until 6 p.m. Tuesday to announce a decision regarding whether the institution will open for business and classes on Wednesday.
"Isabel has not accelerated as quickly or as intensely as the national weather forecasters had predicted," said John R. Broderick, vice president for institutional advancement. "We will, however, alert the University community via the Web site and local radio and television of our status for Wednesday by no later than 6 p.m. this evening."
