WORKPLACE SAFETY CONTEST OPEN TO ODU COMMUNITY

The Old Dominion University Safety Committee is conducting a workplace safety slogan contest.

Three slogans will be selected by the committee to be displayed on banners across the campus. Each winner will have their choice of $50 gift certificates from Monarch Dining Services or the ODU Bookstore. All members of the campus community are encouraged to submit entries.

The slogan should represent some aspect of workplace safety at Old Dominion University. Each winner's name will appear at the bottom of his or her respective banner.

The entry period ends Sept. 26. Entries should be submitted to the committee via email safetycommittee@odu.edu or campus mail to Doug Alexander, environmental health and safety office. Please provide contact information with each submission.

The winners will be announced during activity hour on Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Cape Charles room at Webb Center.
