MOVE-IN FESTIVITIES BEGIN TODAY

A carnival in honor student move-in day is 7-10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, in the North Cafeteria of Webb University Center.

Games, bingo, a spades tournament, food and great prizes will be featured. The grand prize is free books for a semester.

The event is sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and Leadership, Monarch Dining, the university Card Center, and the University Bookstore.

The "Traditions Rally" will serve as the conclusion of freshman debut and as a kickoff for all of the upper-class students.

Big Blue, the cheerleaders and the Pep Band will kick off the school year in Monarch Style. Wear your Old Dominion gear and join the students for a chance to win free t-shirts and other prizes.
