CANCER SOCIETY TO RECEIVE SMITH MEMORIAL

Old Dominion University's Office of Institutional Research and Assessment will make a memorial donation in the name of Edward D. Smith, 60, of Midlothian, who served for more than eight years as Old Dominion University's director of assessment.

In lieu of flowers, the office will make a donation to the American Cancer Society. Smith died Saturday, Aug. 2. Names of individual donors will be noted for the family. Donations are requested by Monday, Aug. 25. Please send a check payable to "The American Cancer Society" to Marty Sharpe, 218 Koch Hall.
